Kaysee Otto is a theatre artist, educator, and community builder whose love of theatre began at age five. As a middle child, Kaysee experienced the external validation of a church audience’s applause after performing “The Rainbow Song”—and she’s been hooked ever since.

Her theatrical experience now spans performance, technical theatre, directing, costuming, and education.

Kaysee works professionally as a Claims Adjuster for United Healthcare and has served as a Technical Assistant at the State Theatre and Chippewa Valley Theatre Guild. She has appeared professionally at Fanny Hill, Minnesota Fringe, in commercials, and in short films. She has also directed and/or costumed a dozen productions and taught Acting and Technical Theatre through CVTG and Otto Performance Studio.

Kaysee studied Comprehensive Theatre at UW-Eau Claire and brings her broad theatrical perspective to everything she does. Outside of theatre, she served Pack 128 as Treasurer, Den Leader, Events Coordinator, and Co-Popcorn Colonel. Her hobbies include, but are certainly not exclusive to, Grandma Crafts, because apparently there is no craft project she considers too delightfully old-fashioned.

Kaysee serves on the River Theatre Co. board because she believes theatre is at its best when everyone has a place in it—onstage, backstage, in the audience, or behind the scenes making it all happen. She is excited to help build a company that celebrates great theatre, welcomes the community, and creates meaningful opportunities for people to be part of the magic.
